Parkland shooting

On Valentine's day, a shooter went into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School with a gun and killed 17 people. Many more were injured. Could this have been prevented? How can we prevent future shootings? What action do we take to change the course of events?

Sexual violence

It can be so easy to take a step back from sexual violence and claim that nothing we do can stop such atrocities. Although crimes like these will never vanish, our culture must takes steps to ensure that any person that commits a sexual crime, is punished accordingly to their actions. And our society must not foster ideas that allow those people to get away with sexual violence.
